Behind Connection and Purpose
Hello! My name is Kristie Proctor, and I am passionate about life design and helping others find their purpose.
After first receiving my Life Design Catalyst certification in 2017, I taught Design Your Life Lab for 12 semesters for Quinsigamond Community College’s Gateway to College students with a colleague. I have hosted workshops for TRiO students, STEM Starter Academy, Bridges to College program, community groups such as the Genesis Club, and church groups. I also created and hosted a virtual Think Again monthly series for QCC alum for two years.
Currently, I serve as the Director of Student Accessibility Services at Quinsigamond Community College. In this role, I create an inclusive and accessible campus environment for students and work proactively to design spaces and experiences for people of all abilities.
I grew up in Western Massachusetts, attended college In Rhode Island and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After moving to Sunnyvale, CA, I met my husband, Roger, and attended graduate school at San Jose State University. We began our careers in higher education in New York, then moved to Central Massachusetts. Now, we live in Grafton, MA, where I grow lavender and tend to our chickens.
“Everyone has a God-given purpose. Most people have a sense of their purpose, but to have the opportunity to attend a workshop where one gets to think and reflect on ideas regarding purpose and mission fully without interruption and distraction allows people to put their feelings and thoughts together and move forward with purpose.”
